After You Submit a Georgia COAM License Application

After submitting a Georgia COAM location-license application, keep your confirmation and monitor the Georgia Lottery Corporation (GLC) review. Submitting an application does not mean the license has been approved.

Check your application status and messages

Sign in to the official COAM licensing portal. Under Licenses, select your business and review the license status and available details. Check the owner’s email regularly and respond to requests for corrections or documents. The GLC Location License Holder Guide (PDF) includes account and status guidance; use newer GLC notices and forms when instructions have changed.

Finish outstanding Class B banking steps

If your EFT paperwork is still outstanding, follow the bank account and EFT upload instructions in our application guide. Use the current official EFT Authorization Form (PDF), including its upload and confirmation instructions.

Prepare for an inspection or deposit request

Arrange access to your business when the GLC requests a location inspection. Address any identified requirements directly with the reviewer.

A financial security deposit may be required based on the GLC’s review. Its COAM financial security deposit guidelines (PDF) describe a $2,500 cash-escrow requirement in specified circumstances. Follow the GLC’s instructions for your application, including any deposit or release conditions.

Allow time for application review

There is no approval date promised by this guide. Timing depends on a complete application and the resolution of any document, tax, banking, inspection, or other review issues. Keep a record of requested items and the date you supplied them.

Confirm approval before equipment goes into service

Once your license is issued, check its business information and work with Lucky Coin on installation. Under the GLC COAM rules (PDF), the location license must be displayed, and Class B machines cannot be offered for public play before required licensing and connection to the GLC central accounting system are complete.
