The Georgia Lottery has released information on the 2025 GA COAM License Renewal Period now open for all Class A and B Master Licenses and Location Licenses. The renewal period begins May 15, 2024. The renewed licenses will be good from July 1, 2024 to June 30, 2025 (or you can take advantage of the NEW multi year licensing process). Lucky Coin wants to make sure that all locations are made aware of the 2025 renewal period. Below is the information from the GA COAM website about the license renewal:
The COAM licensing application(www.gacoam.com) opens on May 15, 2024 (Wednesday) for the 2025 licensing period (07/01/2024 ‐ 06/30/2025) for the following:
- Master Class A ‐ NEW and RENEWAL
- Master Class B ‐ RENEWAL
- Location Class A ‐ NEW and RENEWAL
- Location Class B ‐ NEW and RENEWAL
- Manufacturers and Distributors – NEW and RENEWAL
Note: The Georgia Lottery Corporation is only accepting applications for NEW Class B Master licenses through an auction process for prequalified participants. Master License auctions occur at least once every three (3) years. See Announcement section of COAM website for any upcoming Class B Master License auction announcements.
On this date, the Multiple Year License Application will be provided as an option to licensees. The Multiple Year License Application allows license holders to extend their license for an additional one or two years upon issuance or renewal. To begin this process, you MUST have already submitted your 2025 (07/01/2024 – 06/30/2025) application online at www.gacoam.com. You can find the Multiple Year License Applications for each license type under the Documents/Forms section of the website. Note: If you are solely applying for the 2025 licensing year, the Multiple Year License Application is not required.
After 7/01/2024, a $1,000 late fee will be assessed to Location Class B licenses, Master Class B licenses, Manufacturer, and Distributor licenses. Additionally, a $100 late fee will be assessed to Location Class A licenses and Master Class A licenses that have not RENEWED for the 2025 licensing period (07/01/2024 – 06/30/2025). An existing COAM licensee will not be allowed to apply for a new license to avoid payment of late fee.
9/30/2024 is the last day to submit a RENEWAL Location Class A and Class B license, Master Class A and Class B license and Manufacturer and Distributor license for the 2025 licensing period (07/01/2024 – 06/30/2025). If a holder of a 2024 COAM license fails to renew its license or its license application is not approved on or before this date, the person or entity will no longer be allowed to operate COAMs.
